Meet Duke! Duke found himself in need of a new furever home, could that be with you? Duke is a Border Collie/Spaniel mix around 5 years old. He is an absolute sweetheart and would love nothing more than to have room to play, explore, and snuggle up in a comfy bed! This sweetiepie made his way to us here at PK due to no fault of his own - his original dad loved him so so so much. Sadly, his dad has family over in Syria that has been devastated from the recent earthquakes. He is currently selling all that he can so that he can go over to Syria and help. He felt it wasn’t fair for Duke to go through selling everything and then being essentially alone for a long time while he would be gone for however long he needs to. He selflessly brought Duke to us knowing that we would work hard to find the absolute perfect furever home for him. Duke is dog, cat, and children friendly however Duke is very strong and has a good amount of energy so due to his size and strength he easily could knock a child down without realizing it. We can kitty test him on request and if you have any other dogs in your home we can schedule a time for you to bring them to meet Duke!
