Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Howl-o! My name is Beck and I’m one happy and hyper dude! Best guess is I’m an Aussie-mix, judging by my coat and energy level. I love to run and play and have an endless amount of energy. I love people, but I’m not a super snuggler by any means. I love to be around people, observing, following, sniffing, chewing, and playing. I will nap next to my humans, but I’m not the type to be carried around and snuggled all the time. I’m very observant and don’t miss much…mailman on the porch, leaf blowing by, a lost sock, or a forgotten show. I'm a full-on puppy and for that reason, I really would prefer to live in a home with older kids (10 and up) and another active dog. I love to fetch, chase, wrestle and play! I live with three other dogs and absolutely adore playing with my foster siblings. I’m going to need a fenced-in yard FOR SURE! I love the outdoors and being in nature. My foster family takes me on hikes and I LOVE IT! I’m going to need an active family that really understands the Aussie lifestyle! I’m curious, playful, energetic, and happy. I will require a lot of exercise and chewy toys to keep me active and entertained. My foster mom is highly recommended I go to puppy school so I learn good manners and become the best pup I can be!
I’m still working on potty-training, but my foster mom says I’m well on my way! I’m crate-trained and sleep through the night without any accidents in my crate, which is pretty good for someone my age. I’ll need more practice, praise, and patience. I’m sure I’ll have this potty-training thing down soon, as long as my new family takes me on lots of potty breaks and rewards me with praise, pets, and treats
Did I mention I was smart already? I can sit and shake already and sometimes get the down command correct. I’m approximately 13-14 weeks and as I mentioned, I think puppy classes would be a great idea, so I can put my intelligence and athleticism to good use!
So to summarize….I’m looking for a family that is active, outdoorsy, and has plenty of time to spoil me rotten with lots of toys, long walks/hikes, and enrichment. A fenced-in yard and children 10 and up are a must. So…. if you’re looking to add a crazy energetic, talkative, playful, and intelligent furry friend to your family adventures, then apply to adopt me today!
