My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

These sweet boys Teddy (a 10 year old Yorkipoo) and Theo (a precious 11 year old toy poodle) are so sad. Their “mother” the only owner that they ever knew passed away and these boys were left desperately crying for her and waiting for her to come home to them.

They are currently being fostered by a family member. They are such good boys. They are calm, like to sleep in their crate together, beg for treats, love everyone they meet.

They both only weigh @6lbs and are potty trained and like to go outside but are happiest inside playing with toys and cuddling on the couch. And even though they are 10 and 11 they are healthy and have years of love to share with someone.

They are both neutered and are up to date on their vaccinations. While they love everyone they meet, these boys want the love and stability that they deserve
:   A family of their very own that will love them and give them kisses, carry them around, take them for walks with their little sweaters on, spend the days watching the snow fall outside and cuddling up near the fireplace together.

Teddy and Theo have been together since Theo was a puppy and Teddy took care of him as his little brother., so they need to be adopted together. If you could give these sweet boys a loving home and be their family for the rest of their lives, please complete an online Adoption Application at PetPromise.org

Their adoption process

Additional adoption info

PetPromise volunteers do their best to ensure that all of the PetPromise pets and their new owners are the perfect match. For that reason the adoption process may take several days to complete. We do our best to ensure that the adoption of the pet is "for life."

If you are interested in adopting a particular pet, please complete an online adoption application at http://petpromise.org/adoption-application. We conduct reference checks and require a home visit before any adoption. The adoption fee varies by pet.

More about this rescue

PetPromise is an Ohio 501(c)(3) animal welfare organization made up of volunteers who are dedicated to creating a world where there are no more homeless pets through education, rescue, sterilization, and adoption.

PetPromise rescues animals from high-kill animal shelters and provides foster care, medical care, and rehabilitation to once homeless, neglected, or abused dogs and cats as well as adoption services so that these pets may find loving permanent homes.

Through our City Kitty Program, PetPromise works with feral cat caregivers to control feral cat populations in central Ohio through trap/neuter/return. , PetPromise provides rabies vaccinations, spay/neuter surgery and offers the use of humane traps when needed.

The PetPromise Pet Food Pantry provides temporary assistance in the form of cat and dog food free of charge to caretakers of feral cat colonies and pet owners who are experiencing economic hardship.

The founders of PetPromise began rescuing and finding homes for stray cats and dogs in 1996. The founders along with a network of other people interested in the welfare of homeless companion animals formed PetPromise in 1999. PetPromise was officially incorporated on February 4, 2000.
