Hi, I’m Billie! My favorite thing is being by your side. I’m a happy young girl with lots of energy for playing. I’m very well behaved around the house and love to snuggle on the couch. I love to run in a fenced yard or on a long line. I also really like to chase small animals, so a cat-free home would be best for me. I am very attentive with my beautiful yellow eyes and I enjoy learning through training games. I’m the perfect size at 45 lbs. I’m pretty scared of new dogs and I may bark to keep them away from me, but I did live with dogs before and got along with them well. New people are even a little scary to me at first. My adoption comes with six free training sessions with a certified, force-free trainer. I’ve got a whole life ahead of me and I’m eager to meet you so we can get started on it together. NOTE ABOUT BREED LABELING: Visual breed identification of dogs is unreliable and usually inaccurate. So, for most of our adoptable pups, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog or puppy
as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.
Adoption Process: Complete the application at
www.pawsforliferescue.org. We then arrange a location, date and time for you to meet some pets. If the meeting goes well and everyone is happy, you begin the mandatory, minimum two-week adjustment period with the pet as part of your family. You will pay the non-refundable adoption fee at the start of the two-week adjustment period. This pending period allows your new dog or cat time to adjust to their new home, new people, new routine, etc., and for you to decide if it's a match and the right pet for you. At the end of two weeks (some people extend the adjustment time as needed and that's fine too), if everyone is happy, then we finalize the adoption. Feel free to email if you have any questions.
