Griff has had a rough start in life. One of our long time volunteers found him tied to a tree in horrible shape. We took him in to Apollo and got him medical attention. He is young, confused and the shelter noises make him very anxious. He is the cutest and quirkiest pup that would make someone laugh and have a lot of fun. We took care of his medical needs and all he has is a little bit of hair loss. That just makes him more special. At less than a year old Griff has suffered abandonment and neglect. We hope for an active family willing to love him and train him with patience and understanding of his horrible past. He is neutered and up to date on shots. He is anxious at the rescue and it’s been difficult making a clear determination if he is dog reactive or not. We believe once outside of the noise and with proper decompression time he could tolerate other dogs. This would take time and slow introductions are recommended.
Included with adoption: Age-appropriate vaccinations, up to date heart-worm preventative, heart-worm test if over 6 months, microchip with registration, and spayed or neutered- if not already, a voucher is provided.

More about this rescue
We are a 501c organization that saves pets from high kill shelters, off the streets and also accept pets as owner surrenders so they do not have to step a foot in the shelters. We believe all animals deserve a good life and we strive to give them one! We give them any medical attention they may need, including spay/neuters, a microchip and vaccinations and find them a forever home.
