My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dakota came to me when I took in a homeless man. The man eventually moved on and left Dakota. Dakota is such a good dog, I just couldn't throw him out. From what I know, Dakota is about 10 years old. He is very active, lots of energy, and a puppy at heart. He loves to talk especially when he wants something. He was professionally trained and has commands, but I do not know the commands. He walks on a leash. He loves and is very protective of kids. He gets along with other dogs as long as they do not attack him. He really needs a place with a fenced in yard or pasture. He has been locked up in my tiny house and once he gets out he does not come back for hours. He will not listen right off. He just runs and runs the neighborhood. I just cant keep him because my son already has a dog and Dakota just takes up half my house. I do not have the time he needs nor does he get the attention he deserves. He stays locked up all day and then on a lead til we go to bed. It's not fair to him.
