My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Boone is a 54 lbs Boxer mix.  He is friendly and seems to be ok with other dogs....he loves to play.  He will need to meet any new housemate prior to adoption being approved.

Boone is around 1 yr old.  We do not know how he is with cats or children.  He keeps his kennel area clean for the most part but will have accidents on occasion.

If you are interested in Boone please stop at the shelter to meet him and complete an application.

More about this shelter

We are a county funded shelter. Our operating budget is very limited. We are open to take in strays and owner turn-ins. We only have 29 kennels and our focus is to promote and adopt out the dogs we take in. We try to learn basic information on the dogs, if they know basic commands, are spayed or neutered, good with other dogs, etc. We do have helpful volunteers that will take a dog home to see how they are in a home situation. As with most shelters we do not know everything about each dog. Our fees to adopt are low. We CANNOT guarantee the health of any animal.
