Meet Baxter! He’s a year old brindle shepherd.

Baxter is friendly with dogs and people. He enjoys playing with the other dog friends here at the rescue but would love to find his forever home. He came to us from someone who lost their home and ended up living on the streets of LA, along with his siblings (Rara, Bailey, and Mia who are available for adoption too).

We’d love to get him in a home with someone who has working dog breed experience.

To meet Baxter, apply at https://www.muttsinneed.org/adoption-application.html

Adoption application

Go meet their pets

We do not do adoption events. Most of our dogs are in foster homes. We prefer to set up meet and greets once an application is approved.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers in Southern California, primarily in Orange County dedicated to saving the lives of abandoned animals. We care for strays, abandoned animals, victims of abuse, and rescue most from euthanization in animal shelters across the world.
