My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bo will need a home that is super patient and willing to give him time to decompress.  You will also have to come to the shelter more than once to visit with him. He is fine with our staff but takes time to warm up to ALL new people.  He reacts ok to some dogs but MUST meet and new housemates.  He was in a home prior to coming here, for a short time, and they said he would growl at their children from time to time (which is why they brought him to us).  So we suggest NO children.

Anyone interested in meeting him MUST come to the shelter and complete an application if you decide you would like to be considered.

More about this shelter

We are the Morrow County Dog Shelter, operated by the county.
Our shelter houses stray and homeless dogs from our county. We are a small shelter with an annual intake between 250-400 dogs. Some of our available dogs go through a prison training program if they qualify.
Our adoption fee includes all basic vet care and it is completed before a dog goes to his/her new home. An adoption application is necessary for all dogs prior to an adopter being chosen.
