My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

***The first step in the adoption process is to complete the application at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org***

Charisma was found as a little kitten running by the highway in town.  We estimate her to have been born May of 2022.  She is gentle, shy, calm, sweet and has an old soul face.  Charisma doesn't join in on the crazy kitten antics in her room but prefers to stay out of the fray and lounge on the tall Karunda bed in her room.  She is welcoming to pets and loves ear scratches.  If you are looking for a young, calm, gentle and sweet natured kitten she might be your gal!  Because of Charisma's nature she would need a calm home as well so no little kids running and playing and no rowdy dogs.  Other sweet natured calm dogs and cats would likely be fine with her.  Charisma is up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed and FeLV/FIV negative.  As always our kitten/cat adoption fee is free will to approved applicants.

Go meet their pets

Check out all of our pets online at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org or send in an application to meet a specific pet! Once our shelter is open for operation stop in during our open hours to visit with a fuzzy friend in person.

More about this shelter

The ECAS is an all volunteer, no kill shelter. Our mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome pets in need due to neglect, abandonment, abuse or from simply not being wanted! We started in 2010 due to a need in our community. We are currently a foster based organization and we are currently building our new shelter facility. We work hand in hand with other rescue and shelters in the area to help out when and where we are needed.
