Meet Dustin D. McDusterson (aka Dusty to his friends). Dusty is a ladies' man, but not the type that does you wrong. Dusty is comfortable in his manhood so he happily cuddles with toys of all type., Dusty is looking to rescue a human. Dusty is open to rescue a male or a female human, so put in your applications because Dusty needs to decide who needs him the most.
But in all seriousness Dustin is a wonderful dog that would do great in almost any home. He is house-trained and does great in a crate other than a little bit of barking at fist but he's getting better everyday. Dustin's favorite thing to do is cuddling on the couch or chewing on a bone.

More about this rescue
The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
