Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Happy 48th anniversary to Homeward Bound Pets Humane Society!!!! We have proudly served Yamhill County and numerous other counties to find placement for homeless, stray, abandoned and owner surrendered animals. We wanted to celebrate our anniversary with a special offer. All dogs and cats over 6 months of age will have an adoption fee of $48.00 from July 13th-August 31st.
Our adoption procedure will still be the following below:
** Our goofy Zeus is back after a short vacation, he just couldn't handle living with cats and before he did something terrible, his wonderful adopters brought him back, they were absolutely heartbroken, but did the right thing for Zeus, he had a wonderful couple weeks and was spoiled rotten. Zeus had a wonderful time at Marvin Pierce Dog Teacher training and he is ready for his new home****
Dog meet and greets are by appointment only, please answer the questions below the bio, either through Petfinder, Adopt-A-Pet or by directly e-mailing us at shelter@hbpets.org. Please be patient, we are over capacity and short staffed, we try to get back to everyone quickly, it may be 4-5 days.
Meet Zeus, he is a little over a year, neutered male, Shepard Mix. He was found on a property in Yamhill County and brought into the shelter. Sadly his owner never came for him. Zeus is a goofy ball with lots of energy, he loves adults but is scared of small children, he cannot live with cats. He is learning sit, stay, kennel and is doing very well. He needs a home with physical activity, like hiking, jogging, running etc. If you are looking for a traveling buddy, hiking buddy this is your guy, he is very sweet, eager to learn and is just the best boy. He is a no cat household, does well with other dogs.
My adoption fee is $48.
