My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sara is a 2-3 year old shepherd mix who has been waiting patiently for her forever family. She is completely housebroken and walks great on a leash. She is happy to let you sleep in on the weekends too! Sara loves her people, chilling out next to them all day, and like most shepherds, she is also happy to protect her humans from any evil squirrels that may invade your yard. Sara would do best as the only dog in a home with adults or teenagers and with adopters who have prior dog experience who are also willing to continue her training. Sara is a total sweetheart but she can be a bit bossy with other dogs, like she was with her pups...once a mom, always a mom! Once you meet her, you will absolutely fall in love with her.

More about this rescue

Knine Rescue is a small non-profit 501(c)3 organization, dedicated to animal care and protection. We assist shelters and other rescues (both in our area and out of our area alike), and take on word of mouth tasks. Our goal is to promote responsible animal ownership and to assume those responsibilities when others are unwilling or unable to do so. We are a virtual facility of volunteers.
