My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Isabell, also known as Quinn by her loving foster mom. Isabell is in foster after being in the shelter long enough to end up on the euthanasia list. But her foster family stepped in and saved her. They could not resist her sweet face and loving eyes and fostered her just in time. Isabell's best friend is her foster mom, Jayne. But she also loves her squeaky toys and tennis balls and if often playing with them alone having the best of time.

Isabell is potty trained and staying alone at her foster mom's home without needing a crate. She just takes a nap while they are away and is such a good girl. They leave her for 1-2 hours without any issues. Isabell has learned to sit and does well on a leash. She will pull a little when she sees dogs or squirrels. So, her new home will want to continue to work on her leash skills. Isabell also enjoys car rides and is pretty much always ready to go.

Isabell is a great house guest and doesn't jump on the furniture and will take naps or play fetch. She loves to put her head on your knees and get attention but if you're busy and running around she'll just lay down and nap, which is nice. As you can see in the pictures, Isabell is the queen of head tilts and cocks her head just so to listen closer. Isabell has met many of the neighborhood dogs and kids around the neighborhood & just loves them. Her foster mom says she is just the perfect dog.

Isabell would love a home where she could play with her toys and run around in the yard. She enjoys going for walks and would love a walking partner. Isabell has come to love the smaller pup she's living with in foster care & they have become fast pals. Isabell has met children ages 8- and 10-year-old and done very well. Isabel has learned how to sit on command and learning how to be a great leash walker.
