My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chopper isn’t just a dog; he’s a whirlwind of fun and energy packed into one adorable, four-legged dynamo! Whether you call him a tornado, a hurricane, or a cannonball on legs, one thing’s for sure: Chopper is a force of nature you’ll instantly fall in love with.

Two years ago, Chopper faced a tough start with a heart condition called patent ductus arteriosus. Thanks to life-saving surgery, this resilient boy is now healthier than ever—and he’s making up for lost time with all the zest he can muster!

Affectionately nicknamed “Chops,” this goofball is dog- and people-friendly, loves romping in the yard, and will keep you laughing with his antics. If you’re looking for a loyal, high-energy buddy to brighten your days, Chopper is ready to bring the fun to your forever home.

Are you ready for the adventure of a lifetime? Chopper sure is! Reach out to us today to meet this amazing guy!

More about this rescue

We rescue and rehabilitate dogs who are at risk in overcrowded shelters, including many who have been victims of cruelty and dogfighting, and then place them in permanent homes. We also advocate for pit bulls through educational and outreach programs and work to build a community that supports the bond between dogs and people.
