Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bonnie is a 3-year-old Chihuahua mix. She is very playful with other dogs and has a very sweet and affectionate personality. She weighs 11.2 pounds, is microchipped, spayed and has had a dental and good news, kept all of her teeth. She is current with all vaccines and heartworm free. Bonnie uses a doggy door to go outside but will use a pee pad if not taken outside or go to the door. A fenced yard would be best for Bonnie because she is definitely a runner so someone to walk her to use excess energy would be great.
Bonnie will sleep in a crate covered with a blanket but would love to snuggle in bed with you. We suspect that Bonnie was abused because with confronted with new people Bonnie will growl until you sit down and let her come to you. She is very affectionate with the ladies and is learning that men are OK too so an understanding, gentle man in the home would be great, but small children under 8 would probably not be a good fit for Bonnie because fast movements frighten her. She likes other dogs, but cats and other small animals have not been tested with her. She is not a big barker but has been known to bark at strangers and squirrels.
Her adoption fee is $450.00, and she is being fostered in Silver Lake Wisconsin. You can contact Carol at 262-539-5262 for more information or to arrange a meet and greet.
