My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

COURTESY POST

Hello! My name is MR. BEAR! I was found living under a truck in an auto park in South Central LA. Some nice people came to my rescue and now I am looking for a place I can rest & live out my days.

I am extremely friendly, trusting, gentle, and love being with people and other dogs. I’m an “old soul” and have a kind and soft demeanor. I am potty trained. You will just have to take a bit of time with me to show me where to go outside.

My ideal home includes some cool, loving humans and hopefully other dogs. I just want to be part of the fun. Please consider making me part of your world!

MR BEAR has a micro-chip but we have been unsuccessful in finding his family. He is 12 years old, date of birth, June 7, 2010, and weighs 60 pounds. He appears to be a handsome blend of Cocker Spaniel and Newfoundland… likely some other fun breeds thrown in, too. Maybe Rottie, or Tibetan Mastiff, or English Lab ??

Health Update: MR BEAR is drinking and eating like a horse! He’s been to the vet to receive some much-needed attention. He has some skin issues, possibly due to unattended allergies, but now on his way to a big, beautiful silky coat. Just had a dental, too. He’s a little weak in his hind legs but this doesn’t slow him down at all! He’s fully mobile and has the heart of a lion. Nothing can stop this boy!
