My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Date of Birth: 4/1/2017

Poor Coco was taken to a high-kill animal shelter by her family, who said she was a mean cat (she isn't!). She was pulled from the shelter at the last minute before she was to be euthanized. She had a full blood/urine panel and it does indicate early renal disease. She has had two blood/urine panels done already, and the second one was better than the first, so with good food and good care, she could be fine for a very long time. She's eating well and she is a sweetheart. She loves her catnip and loves to play. She would do great in a home with no other pets and no young children

More about this rescue

The Cat Posse is a group of individuals devoted to rescuing and rehabilitating unwanted and abused cats in Southern California. We educate our communities about the importance of spaying and neutering, and we believe that all animals deserve dignity and kindness as we work toward the day when all public shelters will be "no kill".
