My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Bessie was found as a stray with a freshly broken rear leg. She was put in a cast and on kennel rest for 6 weeks but healed up nicely. She can be a little shy at first but quickly warms up with patience and of course wet food! She enjoys being held and loves the company of other cats. She has been living in a home with calm dogs, other cats and a bunny and cohabitating peacefully.   Bessie is spayed, microchipped, vaccinated and has tested negative for FeLV/FIV.  Her adoption fee is $200.00.

More about this rescue

Cool Cats Rescue is often focused on helping animals that are often overlooked. This includes community & TNR cats/kittens, e-listed dogs from our county shelters, cleft palate, puppies, aggressive and other "less desirable" pets that may need extra TLC, time, patience, and understanding before finding their forever homes. We are committed to building a supportive community of fosters, trainers, veterinarians,, and resources for the animals that we believe are in the most need--we even partner with other local rescues, a veteran's assistance program, a homeless assistance program, and a working cat program (mousers) to form creative solutions for our rescued cats.
