Tia (spayed female) 8 years (dob Feb `17) - Labrador/Dane mix (70lbs) Graduated from Puppies for Parole obedience program Housebroken Basic obedience (walks on leash, sit, stay, down, come) Dog friendly No cats
Tia first arrived at our shelter on February 6, 2019. Since then, she’s been in and out of four different homes—all due to misunderstandings and quick judgments. Because of that, Tia has developed some separation anxiety. After all, it’s common for dogs who’ve been abandoned to lose a little trust in people and struggle with being left alone.
But don’t let that scare you—Tia is nothing but love. At 8 years old, she may be one of our seniors, but she still has plenty of energy, joy, and years of life to share. She adores spending time with other dogs and is incredibly treat-motivated, which makes training easy. In fact, she’s already very well-trained thanks to her time in the Puppies for Parole program!
What Tia needs most now is a calm, patient home with parents who will give her the security she’s been missing and show her she truly deserves the world. After spending so much of her life in a kennel, she’s ready for the happy ending she has waited far too long for.
Adoption Fee: $0 (sponsored by a generous donor) ____ Tia graduated from Puppies for Parole - an 8 week obedience training program where she learned basic commands and potty training. Tia`s adoption fee is PRE-PAID and includes his spay, up-to-date vaccinations and microchipped. She is also heartworm negative and on a monthly preventative.
