A majestic cat deserves a great name. Say hello to Helen of Troy!

This stunning kitty has already been on an adventure. She was living in the woods behind an apartment complex and showed herself to be super friendly with a resident who was feeding her. Now she is an indoor kitty, and boy does she love those perks! Booty scratches and chin rubs are her favorite! Once Helen overcomes her initial shyness, she will boop your hand endlessly to get rubs and scritches. Because she is still getting used to indoor life, she tends to seek out hiding spots but will let you know when she wants to be found - she is a talker! Helen is very curious about the other cats in her foster home and has never so much as hissed or growled at anyone. She is very very sweet but does need a bit of a warm up period with new people until she realizes that she is now safe inside and will never have to fear the great outdoors again. She can't wait to meet her loving and patient future people!

The mission of One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is to help abandoned, neglected, abused and unwanted pets by partnering with shelters, rescue groups and the community to facilitate adoption of these animals into permanent and loving homes.

Our goal is to save one life at a time by promoting local animal shelter adoptions and raising awareness in our community about responsible pet ownership. We strive to highlight the importance of spaying or neutering pets which will aid in the reduction of overpopulation. We believe that appropriate and positive reinforcement training and socialization of these shelter animals will lead to well-adjusted family pets, thereby decreasing the number of abandoned animals in shelters. Our dream is that one day all the shelters will be empty because every pet will have a home.

One Love Animal Rescue, Inc. is a volunteer based organization located in Savannah, Georgia. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit and all donations directly benefit the animals entrusted in our care.
