My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Martha
female –calico– date of birth March 8, 2018 – spayed, vaccines up to date-microchipped

Martha is such a gentle and so affectionate girl as well as a bundle of joy. She loves to be petted and have her tummy rubbed. She especially enjoys her head, under chin rubs and curling up on a soft blanket or pillow beside you on the couch for a petting session. Martha loves sleeping with her foster mom therefore she requires a home that will allow her to sleep on the bed with her adopter otherwise she will cry at night. Martha doesn't mind being picked up and held. She was rescued from a greenhouse where she had been living until it became apparent that she was friendly. It was then decided that Martha could have a much better life indoors and she was brought into foster care.

Martha has finally learned how to play and she is truly enjoying herself. She loves to bat random toys around or play in her cat cube and tunnel. Martha also enjoys interactive play with wand toys or chasing a laser light. You will find Marth sound asleep on the couch or curled up in her bed for her afternoon naps. She also enjoys watching the wildlife from the window in her cat tree.

Martha is not fond of other cats therefore she would do best in a home as an only pet and where she would receive all the love and attention plus playtime for herself. She has a tendency to be a bit shy at first with new people therefore she would be best suited to a quiet home with a single adopter or a quiet couple. With time and patience her sweet personality will become apparent and she'll become a truly loving companion.

Martha is looking for her forever home where she can play, have a soft blanket to rest her head and just be loved. Please give this sweet little girl a chance at the life she deserves and has been patiently waiting for all of her life.

More about this rescue

We are a group of volunteers dedicated to helping the street cats in our region. Unfortunately many cats are just abandonded instead of being rehomed and have to fend for themselves. We provide food daily to known colonies, as well as shelter and if needed medical treatment. Many times the cats on the street are not feral at all and we will rehome them.
