My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Max the Meatball, also known as "Squishy" by his foster family! This adorable pup is a lover of snorting and sleeping on his back, which he does most of the time. His best friend is a white 1.5-year-old pup named Ollie, but he also gets along famously with his foster family's five other dogs. While Max is still working on his house and crate training, he's getting the hang of it and loves playing with toys that he can destroy. Max also sits in the splits, we don't know why, but we don't care since it makes us all laugh with delight.

Max has never been exposed to children before, but he's the perfect size for one! Although he's not a big fan of car rides, he's a social butterfly who loves running around and pretending to play with the big dogs. However, when they pay attention to him, he comes running back to his foster family to sit by their side.

Despite his lack of training, Max knows the command "sit" and would love to learn more tricks. He hasn't been on a leash yet, but he's looking forward to exploring the world outside with his forever family. Speaking of which, Max's ideal home would have a yard for him to run around in and very little steps for him to climb, since he needs a little momentum to get going.

But let's be honest, the best thing about Max is how he looks. With his rolly-polly physique, he's just like a meatball! And when you look at him, he seems to say, "Yeah, I skipped leg day at the gym. But it's worth it to be this cute!"

All our dogs come with 30 days of free post-adoption support through Petcademy.org. This benefit includes free access to Petcademy's team of trainers/behaviorists, as well as access to online materials that will help you settle your new family member into your home. You can text unlimited questions to Petcademy and they'll respond within 24 hours (Monday-Friday).

We only adopt in the USA. We are open to adopting in other states, except in Massachusetts. There are quarantine laws for MA and until these laws change, we are not able to adopt into MA.
