My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mando is a very handsome Siamese Snowshoe mixed boy. Mando started his life living on the streets and did not trust people. Now that he is safe and has a fully belly and a warm bed life is different for him now. And guess what? He has decided that he loves to be petted. It still takes him time to warm up to a person so when you meet him don't expect him to want pets. But when he does decide you are a good person, he is quite insistent on getting love. He loves to head butt you to get your attention.
Instead of living on the streets he would love to live in a house. He needs a home that is willing to just let him live without any expectations as to how fast he will trust them - it may take days, it may take weeks, or it may take months, but we do know it will happen as he does it here. So, if you are looking for a stunning boy to grace your living abode that isn't very demanding of your time then Mando is your kitty.

Animal Rescue Carolina (ARC) is a no-kill,501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is four-fold: 1) to promote spay-neuter, 2) to restore stray animals to good medical health, before adopting them into permanent, loving homes, 3) to encourage Trap, Neuter, and Return(TNR) and, 4) to educate pet owners about their responsibilities as guardians for their companion animals.
