Hi! My name is Maria. I LOVE friendly people and my favorite thing is to give hugs, sit in laps, and get lots of good scritches. I never got those before I came to HHR because I lived in a cage my whole life. I like having more freedom now, but sometimes the world feels a bit scary to me still. Pops and big noises REALLY scare me. The first few weeks in my foster home I hid most of the time, but now I stay out most of the time and love to play with toys, chase my foster brother and SNUGGLE! I really like to be ornery to make people laugh. It’s the funnest! I like sniffing around the backyard as well. I hear I am going to have a new mommy or daddy or maybe both! I hope I get someone who lives in a quiet place where I can keep learning to be a brave girl. And I hope they will be REALLY patient with me while I learn. I am trying very very hard!
