Meet Minnie! She is a 2 1/2 year old Shih Tzu Mix weighing about 20 pounds. She was from a hoarding case and came to us pregnant. Her puppies were all adopted out and now it is her turn to find her forever home. She will need a home with no kids. A home with an experienced shy dog owner would be best. She will need someone that will be her leader. If she is let to make her own decisions she will live in a crate or a corner and hide. She needs an owner that will force her to sit on their lap (not in a mean forceful way). She needs a happy medium, some one willing to give her time but show her the world and not coddle her. Minnie is very shy and will take someone with patience, once she is comfortable she is a goofy girl. She love to play fetch. And loves belly scratches. She will need a house with a secured fenced in yard or a pen to so her business in. She is not real fond of a leash and will not always do her business on one. Her current foster is working on the leash issues.She is good with other dogs and cats. She is crate trained but will sometimes bark, we are working on that as well. This animal is up to date on all shots, dewormed, and spayed/neutered. They have been heartworm tested (negative) and on prevention. The adoption fee is $275.00 .
