My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Looking to place in a home with another dog

WELLINGTON 16 MONTHS 24 pounds POODLE/BICHON MIX

Being fostered in Mentor OH

Beasley * B has been Adopted * and Wellington are owner surrenders because their owner could no longer care for them. Wellington is sweet and more out going. Not as interested in treats. Seems to be a bit needy/ wasn't happy when they took his brother away at the vets. he did recover quickly, but think he would be happiest in a home with another dog to pal around with. He is interested in the foster dog, but gets overwhelmed with the rowdy ones .He does love running in the yard with the other dogs.

This animal is current on all age appropriate vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, and spayed/neutered or will go home with an already scheduled appointment. They have also been given flea prevention. Adoption fee is $350.00. If you are interested in adopting this pet please fill out an application.

We also have kittens and their fee is $120.00

More about this rescue

AJ's Search and Rescue Is an animal rescue which was founding in Sept 2016. The rescue is named after our founders first "Foster Failure". Angela aka AJ, fostered over 140 dogs through a previous organization, which lead her to adopting (foster failing) her 125 foster dog (Serchee).

As time went on AJ decided it was time to start yet another business and this time it was a non-profit 501c3 animal rescue. All animals that come through our organization are in foster homes, which allows a new adopter to know more about the animals in many aspects.

Any and all donations and adoption fees go towards proper medical care and feeding all our animals.

We strive to get animals off the streets and into new homes so they can live a wonderful life.
