Meet Cheekoo! Cheekoo joined us from a remote northern community along the James Bay coast. She was only just a young dog herself and had 4 puppies, Whisper, Ocean, Shelby, and Luna! (Whisper is still looking for a home!)

Cheekoo is a fantastic dog who loves being around people and other dogs. She loves to play with toys and enjoys games like tug and fetch.

Cheekoo is a higher energy dog that would be happy to join you on long walks and hikes! An active family is ideal! She is very affectionate, loves a good snuggle, and is very eager to please.

Cheekoo is doing very well in her foster home falling perfectly into routine! She is doing great with the other dogs. And though she has been around cats, she does like to chase them so a cat free home is probably best. She is a quick learner and is very focused when you have a delicious treat.
