Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Kai! He's our super hero dog. A rottweiler in disguise! Can't you tell!? Look at that rotty face! This handsome guy has the A+ personality of the breed and is hoping to join any family to get his happily ever after.
Kai is mellow, a couch potato, sweet, loves dogs and kids, good with cats, housetrained, and he loves to sing. You read that right! Kai will sing and serenade you for some good old fashioned belly rubs. Kai has the personality for a perfect family dog. It's all rainbows and sunshine when it comes to this dude. Except for when he is left alone. Kai has been in and out of the shelter numerous times by people who continue to fail him over and over... owners moving and busy work schedules result in sweet Kai going back to a high kill shelter. Because of this, he doesn't like being left alone in his crate. He does much better being crated next to a dog. It helps him feel secure and we hope it helps reassure him that he'll never go back to the loud stressful shelter.
Kai needs a family that is ok with some barking and crying while left. Over time, we hope that Kai knows he has found his happily ever after and being left alone is a time to snooze and wait for mom and dad to come home.
So what do you say? Would you like to take over Kai's last stop in his rescue journey?
