My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Duchess!

Duchess came to us through our Animal Law Enforcement team after being found severely emaciated. With time, care, and lots of love, she’s made an incredible recovery and now she’s ready for her next chapter. She can be a little shy at first, but once she warms up, she is the sweetest girl. When you`re in with Duchess, you`re in for life. She adores her people and has a soft spot for tennis balls - they’re her absolute favorite!

Duchess is looking for a calm, low-traffic home where she can be the only pet. She’s open to meeting dog-savvy teens.

If you`re interested in meeting Duchess, she is located at the Pennsylvania SPCA Danville Center on Bloom Rd. We are open daily from 12:00-6:00pm and no appointment is needed. Please bring everyone who lives in your home and any current dogs with proof of up to date vaccinations. If you have any questions about her, feel free to call the shelter at 570-275-0340 or email danville@pspca.org.
