My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweet little Sadie is sweet, low-key little nugget that seeks a soft-hearted human who loves frosty-faces and celebrating 'tongue-out Tuesday' (hehe). She'd enjoy the companionship of people and/or a frosty-faced fur sibling to sunbathe with.

Sadie is doesn't demand much, just to be cared for and loved in her elder years. She is currently living in the senior 'wing' of one of our foster homes, along with four other oldies. She deserves to be supremely spoiled in her last stretch and we hope for a kind hearted soul to offer that to her.

If you can provide a loving last few years to her, she would be ever-grateful.

Age: ~15 yrs

Weight: 9 lbs

Vetting: Spayed, up-to-date on vaccines/tests/prevention

Training: Crate and potty-pad trained

To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself. In the case of this dear senior, we will waive our fee in exchange for a loving retirement home.
