Meet Gaia (pronounced Guy-A)! This girl is a one year old pit bull mix with maybe some bulldog thrown in there? She is about 40 lbs with a very soft coat and an underbite that will make you smile whenever you see her :)
Gaia is a very sweet and sensitive girl! She can be shy in new situations and with new people, so she requires some patience to allow her to come out of her shell. But once she does, she is the silliest girl on the block! She absolutely loves other dogs and has done great with every single one that she is has come in contact with - big or small! We would like to see her forever home have another dog who is confident and can show her that new things aren't so scary. She also has done well with cats. She can be scared of small children because they move very fast, but has never been aggressive. She will just remove herself if she gets uncomfortable. Kids old enough to understand she's shy would be fine. We are working on house and crate training and once on a schedule, she is catching on quickly!
