My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone! My name is Hannah, I am sweet little Pitbull who unfortunately needs a new home. My family have unfortunately fallen into a very sad situation and want to make sure I'm in a safe & secure home. I am quite selective with the dogs that I like, so I may do better in a home with no dogs. I am good with kids. I am currently with a trainer to help with some of my misbehaving and hoping to get better soon! I would love to meet you and find my forever home.

Hannah does have a history of fighting other dogs. She is very sweet and kind to some other dogs - so she is very selective. She can also be selective with the humans that she trusts and has nipped a few times - never leaving a wound.

She has been in board and train for the last 7 months and has been making AMAZING improvements! She is now able to be in free play with the other dogs and there have been no other incidents!

This is not a dog of Ace of Hearts, Rather this is posted on behalf of someone else who needs help finding a home for these dogs, IF you are interested in helping or adopting please contact Jennifer Dupke or Michael Dupke @ 818-456-3647 / 818-983-9696 or e-mail mmmdupke@aol.com / jndupke@gmail.com.

More about this rescue

We are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing dogs from various Los Angeles shelters the day they are to be euthanized. Our goal is to help provide animals with a second chance to a happy life and to help reduce pet overpopulation through spay and neuter programs. Once rescued, we place our dogs into loving foster homes while they await adoption. We do not keep dogs in kennels. Placing the dogs in foster homes is the first step to rehabilitation, as it allows us to thoroughly evaluate a dog's demeanor and needs enabling us to make the perfect match of dog and permanent owner. We attribute our high rate of successful placement to our foster program. At Ace of Hearts, we do not discriminate against any breed, including those in the bully breed family. Additionally, Ace of Hearts is dedicated to educating the public on how to be responsible pet owners and on the importance of spaying and neutering. We believe the real solution to pet overpopulation is through spaying and neutering pets.
