My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Chi Chi is a seriously adorable 8# senior long-haired Chihuahua that cannot fail to make you smile. Our best guess is that he is 14 years old, but he has the energy of a much younger dog. He loves to prance around the house looking important, but is never demanding. Chi Chi walks nicely on lead, is house trained, gets along great with other dogs and cats (most of whom are bigger than he is), and is happy to be picked up and held (although does not demand that either). He is not a high strung or nervous dog, as some Chihuahuas can be, and his favorite thing is to curl up by your side and just hang out.

Chi Chi does have a "5 out of 6" heart murmur, and a collapsed trachea for which he is on daily medication. These issues cause him to cough on occasion, but do not seem to affect him otherwise.
