Jake is a sweet boy that loves to be with people. Don't worry about leaving him home while you work. He loves his crate and is happy to veg until you get home. He is a friendly dog the likes everyone- just not the scary gurgling water bowl :)
He is 7 years old- past the puppy stage but still playful. He has energy for adventures but is happy to snuggle and take a nap. He was adopted by my father in 2017 but his health took a turn shortly after. Jake came to live with us until a family could be found for him. My father has since passed away. In the last 6 months, our cat was diagnosed with diabetes and the other dog tore her ACL requiring lots of rest. It has just become overwhelming for me. He gets along well with our other dog, cats and kids. We have a fence but previously did not and it was no issue.
If your idea of a good weekend is watching animal planet, checking out the dog park, stopping for ice cream or howling along with sirens, then Jake is your guy!
