Alisha is a very sweet and happy girl. She lives well with 3 other dogs in her foster home of various sizes (from tiny to her same size). She is totally crate trained but has behaved so well with her foster that she is now allowed free roam. She loves treats and food; she listens well to verbal guidance in her foster home. She likes a good ole belly rub. Alisha is the most content napping in the home. She appears to be potty trained and happily pops back into the house to continue her napping. Alisha tested positive for heartworm when she came to our facility, so we have begun treatment for heartworm. We will continue to cover the heartworm treatment until it is finished, but she can always find a home in the meantime. Alisha also came to us with some visual deficits, however she navigates her world pretty well. She finds her way around and is able to do stairs. She appears mostly blind but may be able to differentiate some shadows in certain lights. She has been spayed and microchipped. She is up to date on vaccines.
