My name is Macaron and I am 2 years old.

Luckily, I was saved from the shelter by Martina Animal Rescue and Howard's Haven, and am currently in a foster home while I wait for a family of my very own.

I am a sweet little cuddle bug and lover of food! I'm stout and low to the ground. I have stunning eyes and an intense gaze. I'm very well-behaved when contained in crates or kennels and show no escaping behavior. I happily jump back into my kennel after walks! I love food so much that sometimes my excitement for food is the challenge when practicing obedience, so I am working on learning patience. I have a strong sit and recall and have shown I can learn very fast. I will stick right with you though and I often don’t rush to get a leash because I'm generally focused on just being near you. I like slow introduction to other dogs and unfamiliar objects as I have a bit of fearfulness. Introduced in a setting I feel safe in, I warm up quickly. Not sure how I behave with a range of dogs or cats yet. I will need help with potty training. I also like to chew, so I needs chew activities and thoughtful containment when unsupervised.
