My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Scamper, a mellow, female, brown tabby kitten, was born August 2022. She jumps into your lap or lets you place her there, staying as long as you brush or pet her.
She tolerates being picked up and held but prefers to sit next to you. Scamper purrs on contact with trusted folks and likes to sleep with you part of the night. She plays with toys by herself, with wand toys with you, and likes watching wildlife out the window. Scamper is quiet, kitten-active and affectionate on her terms. She has met kids over age seven, is okay with respectful dogs, gets along with accepting male cats, and some females. Scamper is very friendly with known folks and is shy of strangers. She would enjoy having another animal for a pal. Kitten foster pals are available. Scamper uses a scratching post and has fine litterbox habits.

This cat and others are available at Cat Tales Rescue. Cats have been vet checked, spayed/neutered, wormed, tested for FIV/FeLV, have distemper and rabies shots. Adoption fees are $200+tax, and for cats age 6+ the fee is $175+tax. For further information or to start the adoption process, leave a message at 612 202-9492 or email cattalesmn@outlook.com

If you are gone 7 or more hours a day, please consider adopting two cats, as one cat usually gets bored. Two cats are easier to care for than one (they self-entertain while you are at work), and they are emotionally healthier (don’t get lonely and bored). Easier to do today than 1 -2 years later when you finally realize the need.
