My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mercy is my foster given name for sooooooo many very sweet reasons. Here are some:

Our fosters tell everyone that meowy me and sis Katla have so much fun with each other. I have a purrrrrrsonality that is very motherly. Check out my videos and you will see me grooming and loving up my foster dad and my sister. People don't know what they are missing out on when it comes to sharing a home with me. Our fosters constantly tell me and my sis everyday that we bring so much love and happiness into a room. They are in no rush for me and sis to leave them, but they also can't help but wish for us to have a purrrrrmanent home of our own. Everyone keeps saying that we deserve it. And whoever eventually adopts us will wish they had done so sooner.

Me and sis Katla and our brother were found when we were kittens with our momma. We lived in dark woods with no shelter or food. We were surrounded by bugs, snakes and scary predators. Thankfully our fosters took us to their warm and happy home with plenty of food and nice comfy beds. Our brother has recently been adopted. We miss him but we know that our foster mom placed him with the purrrrfect loving family. Sissy Katla knows better than anyone how devoted and uplifting I am to the furry and non furry friends that I love.

I am shy when I first meet you. But when you get to know me and return my kindness and show me that you love me unconditionally, I will be your trusted friend forever. Ask my foster mom how much love I have for her and her family and sissy K.

My fosters tell me how delightful I am and that I am like a mother to my sis Katla. I show my sis Katla kitty kindness and love throughout each and everyday. Lots of head licks and playing together all day long. Heavy napping and cuddling, too. Even when we are in different rooms for an extended period of time we call and answer each other to check in and see if we are OK. Can I tell you a secret??? You will have double the kitty fun IF you adopt us two little girls.

Me and sis Katla have an extra special verbal bond. To a trained kitty ear, you can hear us talk to each other in our own language of trills and chatters. We are sweet, cute and active little girls who like to kitty giggle and kitty laugh together.

Would you like to be loved by me? And maybe my sis Katla, too ?? Now is the purrrfect time for you to add double happiness and fun into your life.

If you are looking for new companion and ready for a lifetime commitment, the first step is to complete the Humane Association of the Lowcountry (HAL) Adoption Application located on the HAL website.
