Meet Candy
Candy (3-year-old) or Candy Cane as she is often referred to is looking for the perfect home. This is what she dreams about....
"My perfect home is one that I can really be the star of the show. I prefer to be in charge, so sharing can sometimes be a challenge for me with other dogs. My second requirement is a pool as I LOVE to swim and its great exercise for me. I bet SOMEONE in Arizona has a pool? I had surgery on my hip and I'm doing amazing. Swimming is the absolute best exercise for me. My only limits are long distance running, dock diving or really strenuous hiking. Since I swim a lot and have long hair, someone who likes to brush me out nice and pretty or has a frequent buyer card at the self-serve groomer!
I had puppies when I got to SPR and they have all found their forever homes, so it's my turn. I love to go walking or just hanging out with my people. I have had time with the little ones and done well. My time at SPR has been amazing, but I honestly want to find MY forever home. Won't you come and take a chance on me. I want to be someone's special friend and lifelong forever friend. I'm ready - are you?"
Some more fun facts about Candy. She is a super sweet, super cute, ball driven beautiful Turnverein Malinois. Playing with the tennis ball is her favorite all time game! She can play ball for hours and will bring it straight back to you. Candy was brought to us with her puppies and as they are all rescued now its Candy's turn! She would do best as the center of attention, but with a strong handler and slow intros would be play with a brother or sister. She will easily make you fall in love her the second you start playing with her! We cant figure out why this beautiful girl is still with us! Do not miss out on this one of a kind dog! She exceeds her names expectation.
