My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Odin

I'm a super active fun-loving guy who loves to play, run around, and go on adventures! I like to go for daily walks, hikes, bike rides, or runs! I really enjoy playing in water and hope my new family has a pool or takes trips to the lake! Did I mention I love car rides and paddleboarding! I can be a little nervous around new people and dogs, so an adult only, dog savvy family would be my ideal home. I'm super smart and am treat motivated, so training will be fun! All it takes is a little patience and love to get me to warm up and once I do, I know that I am worth it! If you think we could be a great match, please fill out an adoption application to meet me!

•Saving Paws recommends I live with adults only.
•Saving Paws says I am a must meet with other dogs.
•Saving Paws thinks I am a daily workout, meaning I need lots of exercise.
•Saving Paws says I can NOT live with cats.

If you can give Odin an indoor forever home, please fill out our online application on our website at http://www.savingpawsrescueaz.com/adoption-form/

We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. We are an all-volunteer organization. It may take a couple of days to process an application and complete reference checks.

Thank you for your interest in saving the life of a dog.

Go meet their pets

We are a primarily foster based rescue, so all dogs are shown by appointment only with approved adopters. We participate in a number of adoption events per year. Our events are published on our FACEBOOK page.
https://www.facebook.com/SavingPawsRescue/

We are a 100% volunteer organization so we ask for patience in returning calls, emails and FB messages. Many work to juggle family, work and dogs of their own in addition to saving the lives of dogs in need. We are a German Shepherd and Belgian Malinois rescue. We do occasionally have another breed. We rely 100% on public donation for our operations. We welcome adopters - fosters- volunteers and donors to join us in saving lives

More about this rescue

"Saving Paws" rescue specializes in German Shepherd Dogs and Belgian Malinois. These are the two primary breeds used in military and law enforcement service worldwide. We also partner with other rescues and can assist in locating your perfect pet.

"Saving Paws" is a registered 501c3 non-profit corporation. All staff members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Donations and adoption fees offset the high cost of veterinary care, food, boarding and numerous other expenses. By adopting from “Saving Paws", you become our partner in the rescue. You can make a difference in both financial contribution and working to save deserving animals. Adopting a rescue dog saves two lives. The K-9 friend that you adopted and another that can be brought in by the space created. Open your heart and adopt today.

"Saving Paws" primarily obtains dogs from local "High Kill" shelters. We are often there last hope. Our adoptions have gone on become service dogs, search and rescue dogs, sport dogs, AKC title holders and of course cherished family pets and protectors. Please consider a rescue dog and give these wonderful animals a second chance.
