Meet Lacy
Lacy seems like a name for a very petite girl, but not our girl Lacy. Lacy is a GSD Mix. We bet the mix is a large hound/lab type dog. Now that doesn't mean she is HUGE because she isn't she is just a larger-boned girl, but it also means there is more of her to love. Lacy is sooooooo people friendly even though she came to us with an embedded harness that had cut so deep into the skin and muscle that she needed surgery to heal the large wound!
Through all her recovery she continued to show us that she is a lovebug in every sense of the word. What's the perfect home for Lacy?
Obviously, a large space to exercise will be a must for this girl and an active family that wants to walk and get her into activities where she can burn off all her energy. Since she's been recovering, we haven't been able to expose her to other dogs, but she has not had any reaction to the other dogs around her, so think another well balanced male large breed playful dog might just be the right match. She LOVES to chew her extra-extra-extra hard nyla bones. She can destroy toys pretty quickly, so we encourage the strong bones for her. She wants to be with her people so long hours alone will be hard for this young girl.
