My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Allie loves zoomies, and playing outside, but once indoors it's all about laptime and belly rubs. She is a very sweet girl but is very picky about her dog companions, so it's best if she is the only dog in your home.
This darling girl has spent her entire time as a foster in a farm, she is gentle with the chickens and her pot belly pig friends, she has no issues with cats or kitties either. Probably better as an only dog, but gets along amazingly with other pets.
Miss Allie just wants someone to love her and have playtime with, Are you Allie's new playmate and her Fur-ever home?

Visit with the pet in his/her foster home or at a meeting location.

Submit Application

Send in an application or bring one with you to the meet & greet!

3.
Take the Pet Home

Some fosters will bring pets home to you to make sure everything is safe and secure. Some will be ready to go at the meet & greets!

Additional adoption info

Adoption fee ($175.00 for adult dogs; $200 for puppies & $100 for cats) is for an already-altered pet or a voucher to get the pet altered and up to date on all shots. An adoption form will be required along with an agreement to have the pet altered within 30 days (or by 6 months of age).

West Side Animal League is a volunteer organization that rescues animals from various Fort Worth area shelters. We strive to accomplish our goal of responsible pet ownership by raising public awareness of the need to spay and neuter pets and holding adoption events, spending quality time socializing the animals and in many cases bringing them into our homes as fosters until they can find their own fur-ever home.

We provide vaccinations and medical care as funds are available. 100% of our expenses are covered by donations and adoption fees. We are only able to accomplish this through the generosity of both time and money from others who also want to make the world a better place for our furry friends.
