Why is my name April? Well to be honest, it’s because I was found in April. A nice lady found me all alone in a vacant lot, maybe I was abandoned. After looking for my family and finding none, she brought me to Forte. Now for the first time I have a warm bed (several actually), real food and no one trying to make me have more puppies (yes, I did have a couple litters or more). I know I have some gray in my face, but the vet thinks I'm about 4-5 years old, which isn't bad. I'm very happy to just relax with my foster mom, go for casual walks and meet other dogs and people; there's no one I don't like.
