This gorgeous panther is Tommy!

Tommy was found alone in the street at the age of five weeks. Tommy adores people and loves to cuddle and sometimes sleep on your lap, but he can be a rough and tumble kind of guy with other cats. He is playful, affectionate, curious and active.

Tommy is about 9 months old, is neutered, utd on vaccinations, tested negative for FELV/FIV and all internal parasites (including giardia) and he is microchipped.

The applicant can fill out the application on site or at home and then email to us.

Additional adoption info

After an application is submitted, the applicant is run through the NYS Animal Abuse Registry, references including vet are checked and a home visit is required. There is also an adoption fee.

Go meet their pets

We hold our bi-monthly adoption events at Pets Supplies Plus located at 74-17 Grand Avenue, Maspeth, NY 11378 . There is free parking and it is close to many subway and bus lines.
Our events are usually held from 1-5:30.

More about this rescue

Timber's Legacy is an all volunteer 501c3 based in Glendale, Queens NY that is trying to help decrease the number of homeless cats and the euthanasia rate in our nation through rescue, rehabilitation and rehoming.
As members in excellent standing with NYC's Animal Care and Control's New Hope Program, many of our cats come from their "At Risk" list. We also rescue friendly strays and sometimes owner surrenders. About 25% of our cats are special needs.
All of our cats receive the very best of veterinary care.
