Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ace is an adorable 2-year-old, 14-lb. Maltese mix and is a big ball of love, fun and energy! He is great with all dogs, but not always a fan at first of every human - he does need time to warm up to new people, and has been doing better since being taken out and about by his foster family. Since he is so playful, he prefers to have a fur sibling to help him release some of his energy. He loves playing fetch and brings the ball back every single time! BUT, he also loves nap time and cuddling. Ace loves to sleep in the human bed during the night since it makes him more comfortable and helps him to feel like he's a part of the pack. He is very lovable and treat motivated. He walks great on a leash and rides well in a car. He is not house-trained yet and wears belly bands in his foster home, but we believe he will learn quickly - he needs someone who is home with him during the day and can take him out often to continue to help with his house training. He does not shed, and will need regular grooming. Ace is looking for an active and loving family that can spend most of the day with him and will enjoy taking him out on little adventures, which he loves. We are adopting Ace to an adult-only home - small and active children make Ace nervous. Ace has not been around cats while in our rescue, so we do not know how he will do with cats.
