Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Bethany (born: 1/27/2019) is a cautious yet adventurous, sweet, funny Tortie kitty. Bethany came to HSNY with a broken leg. Bethany needed orthopedic surgery which placed a pin in her back leg. Bethany loves playing with her toys, scratching on a scratch pad, climbing the cat trees and in the closet, lounging on the couch, taking a nap under the covers and sitting in your lap while you pet her!
We really appreciate that you want to give a shelter animal a home. The Humane Society of New York was founded in 1904. The Vladimir Horowitz/Wanda Toscanini Horowitz Adoption Center is a no-kill shelter. Our on-site clinic and staff of skilled Veterinarians looks after the health and well-being of every animal here. We also have a great adoption matchmaking team who will gladly take your profile and match you or your pet with just the right cat or dog companion. We start the process once you have submitted an application to us.
