Meet Dolly
PLEASE NOTE- AN APPLICATION FROM THE WEBSITE ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG IS REQUIRED prior to any meet and greet. Calling, emailing and using the “contact us” link is not useful and will delay your consideration in the adoption of the dog. Petfinder inquires are not useful.
Dolly is a loving 17 pound 3 year old terrier/poodle mix. She is very friendly, loves everyone she meets on walks, good with dogs (no cats pleases) Dolly will be happiest with a owner who is home quite a bit-she is a bit nervous left alone, but settles down-she loves her people and loves to be with them. Dolly also loves zoomies and walks, she will cuddle on your lap but she is not a couch potato all of the time. She is will a very loving companion.
Looking for a "foster to adopt" family who will love on her and fall in love her with her instantly. Must be within 45 minutes of Ellicott City, Md. Dolly developed a manageable skin issue while in Maryland-she will have another vet appt Aug 19th for a recheck-happy to discuss that completely with an applicant.
APPLY AT ALMOSTHOMEDOGS.ORG (click on the word "Adopt" at top of page to find the dropdown menu with application)
The adoption fee is $425, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including age appropriate vaccinations, worming, flea/tick preventative and spay/neuter. All of our dogs will be microchipped.
Because our dogs are in foster homes, applications are required prior to setting up any appointments. Calling or emailing may delay your consideration. Find our application on our website, almosthomedogs.org, then click on "Adopt" tab at top
We are a non profit no kill 501 (c)3 rescue. Please understand that we do our best to describe our dogs but often we rescue them with virtually no information about them and often our best educated guess can be challenging. Currently check, cash or venmo is preferred payment.
