Jynx is a 9 month old German Shorthaired Pointer mix. He came from an impoverished background where his owner was living in a rural shanty without power and living on $84 worth of monthly foodstamps. One of the pets had already succumb to starvation when we rescued him and his siblings. Jynx has since developed a lot more social skill. Even though, he is still quite shy. He does love treats and will now run out to be petted. He is beginning to be leash trained but insist on walking with the leash in his mouth lol. He does well with his brother, Prince, but can be temperamental when he doesn't get his way. He would make an EXCELLENT dog for someone living alone and wanting to feel safe as he will ward off intruders. His bark is all he will do though. He does need to continue his leash walks so that he will improve. Jynx just needs to find the right person to bond to and be loved.
