Emma is a beautiful girl who loves affection. She is quiet in her kennel and keeps it very clean, so we suspect she is house trained. Emma would make a wonderful companion for a quiet home, but yet would love to be taken on walks and outings. This girl is special and is waiting patiently for the home she richly deserves.

Indigo's Rescue Ranch is located near Medora, Indiana (Jackson County). We are located approximately 1 hour south of Indianapolis and 1 hour north of Louisville, Kentucky.

Indigos Rescue Ranch and Sanctuary is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to provide care, shelter, fostering opportunities and adoptive homes for Jackson County’s homeless dogs until such time as we can find them a suitable “forever home.” Regardless of breed, size or age, we accept dogs into our shelter and ensure they have safe and happy lives while we seek suitable homes for them. We believe so strongly in our mission, that where hard to place dogs are concerned (e.g., older, disabled or special needs dogs), Indigo’s becomes their forever home so they may live out their lives with the love, care, and attention they deserve.
